This is an honorary degree hood received from Velma Childers on 5/25/07. She had purchased it at an auction of former Governor Louie B. Nunn's memorabilia. Governor Nunn had received the honorary degree (LL.D) at Pikeville College's Founders' Day ceremony in October of 1971.
