The Pike County Historical Society Collection is composed of a wealth of materials on the history of Pike County. Included are ledgers, journals, historical scrapbooks, photographs, and records on a variety of a variety of historical and genealogical topics.
The records in this series were part of the library record collection, though they were never added to the main catalog. Many of these records were donated to the institution after a local radio station closed, probably around the late 1070s/early 1980s. Records related to Appalachia and Kentucky were added to Special Collections and Archives.
